Make Your Own Tool Pouch
The Stuff and Go Tool Pouches are easy to make, and remarkably handy. The first tool pouch created was to replace a factory supplied motorcycle tool pouch that was falling apart. The Stuff and Go Tool Pouches are perfect replacements for factory tool pouches, as they are lined for durability, and seal securely with hook and loop across the full length of the tool pouch.
While the three different sizes are perfect for carrying tools and spares, these tool pouches are so practical, they are great for storing and carrying just about anything you can think of – indoors and outdoors. In addition to carrying motorcycle tools and spares, I also use these tool pouches for carrying my chainsaw tools, chainsaw chains, impact driver bits, sawzall blades, etc. They are really handy little pouches!
Check out the step-by-step video below that makes creating these tool pouches an absolute breeze. Below the video is a helpful list of tools and supplies used to make these tool pouches.

1 inch / 25mm Binding
Polyester or polypropylene binding is recommended. This makes cutting then heat sealing the ends quick and easy. Cotton binding is not recommended unless you tuck and sew the ends.
-
Bonded Polyester Thread
Bonded polyester thread is excellent for strength, durability, and UV resistance. It is the recommended thread for sewing any gear that gets a hard life, and will be used outdoors.

Hook and Loop
Hook and loop is used to secure the top of the pouch. Ideally use a quality brand so the pouch lasts a long time. You can use adhesive or standard hook and loop
-
Hot Knife
A hot knife is the best tool to use for cutting the binding flush and tidy. If you don't already have one then I highly recommend getting one. They can be considered a must-have tool for anyone creating these types of products where you need to cleanly cut webbing, binding, rope, polyester/nylon fabric, etc

Tailors Chalk
Tailors chalk is required to mark out the pattern for cutting, and also make the markings for the hook and loop. Chalk wheels, fabric pencils, or fabric markers will also be ok.
